Freestyle Coaching

Our Freestyle Lessons are for those looking to master the basics on trampolines or advance to inversions, grabs, and spins whether indoors or on snow. An instructor will guide the students through proper warm ups, progressions, and cool downs to learn safely and effectively.  This program is designed for all ability levels. We tailor all classes to the needs of the student(s). The lessons are for ages 5 and up, 8+ for Big Air Jump. We offer four different types of classes: Level 1 (Group Class), Level 2 (Group Class), Big Air Jump Intro (Group Class), and Private Classes.
 
Level 1: group Class
LEVEL 1: GROUP CLASS

Trampoline only
Ideal for beginners looking to build a strong base with essential movements and basic trampoline tricks.

  • Learn body control and balance fundamentals.
  • Master basic jumps, drops, and landings.
  • Introduction to simple grabs and spins.
  • Develop air awareness and confidence in movement.
  • 1hour 15 min group class with an experienced freestyle instructor.

Focuses on refining control, adding complexity to tricks, and learning how to transition safely between maneuvers.

  • Enhance spin control and add grabs to tricks.

  • Learn safe transitions between skills.

  • Improve takeoff and landing mechanics.

  • Begin working on off-axis rotations.

  • 1hour 15 min group class with an experienced freestyle instructor.

Private Session · Up to 2 Athletes Included

  • Can include both trampoline + Big Air Jump.

  • For those who want one-on-one style coaching in a private session.

  • More advanced trampoline tricks and ramp inversions.

  • Any specific goals outside of the basics can be accomplished.

  • 1hour 15 min group class with an experienced freestyle instructor. 

Private Freestyle lessons are booked per session and include up to 2 athletes. One additional athlete may be added for $25 (3 athletes max).

Introductory class for those wanting to hit the Big Air Jump for the first time.

  • Roller skis and board come free with the class registration

  • Learn the basics of takeoff, landing, and POP.

  • Basic tricks: Grabs, spins, going straight (no inversions in the intro level class).

Freestyle coaching focuses on building skills like balance, air awareness, grabs, spins, inversions and more. At SNÖBAHN, this happens on performance trampolines and the Big Air Jump features to safely progress tricks used in skiing and snowboarding.

No. Freestyle coaching is designed for all ability levels, from first-time athletes learning body control to advanced riders refining tricks.

No equipment is required for trampoline-based freestyle classes. For Big Air Jump Intro sessions and private sessions on the Big Air Jump, equipment rental is included.

Yes. Athletes must complete a Level 1 Freestyle class before enrolling in a Level 2 class, unless approved by the Freestyle Director (Coach Keith Shipman)

Yes. Helmets are required (and included) for freestyle lessons.

Roller skis and roller snowboards are used (and included) in Big Air Jump lessons. Students should bring their own helmets and boots.

Freestyle lessons are 1 hour and 15 minutes long, including warm-up, skill progression, and cool-down.
