SNÖBAHN Summer Camp 2022 COVID Policy

It is more important than ever to protect the health and safety of our team members and customers. For our 2022 summer camps, we will follow the current government guidelines to develop our 2022 summer camp policies and procedures.

.  Please find additional information below.  NOTE :: Our policies and procedures are subject to change as new guidelines are made available by local authorities.

Arrival/Departure

  • Drop off and pick up will take place in front of SNÖBAHN.
  • Check-in and check-out will happen outside of the facility.
  • All staff, campers, parents, etc. are required to wear masks at all times while inside the facility except for when actively eating or drinking.

Screening

  • Campers
    • We encourage parents to take their children’s temperature and check for any Covid symptoms prior to bringing them to camp.
    • We will require parents to keep children home when showing any symptoms or signs of sickness.
    • We will send home campers with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses with a recommendation to get tested immediately and adhere to isolation and exclusion.
  • SNÖBAHN Team Members
    • We will monitor and ask staff members if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms. These include symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat. If staff members exhibit such symptoms, they will not be allowed on-site.
    • We will follow the CDC and/or local guidelines as it pertains to the isolation of staff members with suspected close-contact exposures.

Hygiene & PPE

  • Campers
    • Require handwashing upon arrival, before and after eating, and at regular intervals throughout the day.
    • Masks and face coverings will be required for campers at all times unless actively eating/drinking or when we are outside and able to maintain social distancing
    • Equipment
      • All gear provided to campers/staff will be sanitized after each use.
  • SNÖBAHN Team Members
    • Require handwashing upon arrival, before and after eating, and at regular intervals throughout the day.
    • Wear masks or face coverings at check-in and check-out, and throughout the day (unless a safety procedure requires no mask)

 Sanitation practices

  • Provide sufficient handwashing/hand sanitizing locations and ensure additional supplies are available.
  • We will ensure sufficient cleaning and disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces and equipment throughout the day.
  • We will disinfect all high-touch areas and equipment at the start and end of the day and each time a group finishes an activity, prior to the next group using the area or equipment.

General Preparedness

  • We will have an established set of protocols for responding and reporting cases to health care staff, parents of campers, local public health authorities, and CDPHE.

If there is a confirmed case

  • We will notify and cooperate with the local public health agency on the next steps.
  • We will establish protocols for campers to self-report symptoms to staff, volunteers, or health care staff.
  • We will isolate ill staff or campers.
