Introductory to Parkour Class
Our introductory to parkour class is focused around safety and the longevity of the practitioner. All movements in the intro class are performed at the safest, lowest level to ensure the practitioner has a solid foundation to grow from. Our coaches teach the latest step by step progressions for the student to learn the fundamentals of parkour ensuring each student has the tools necessary to succeed in their own parkour journey. Some movements that we will explore are;
-Safety falling in all directions (including the parkour roll)
-Basic vaulting over obstacles
-Climbing and jumping techniques/progressions
Please wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring a water bottle.
In wet or snowy conditions please bring a second pair of shoes to change into to keep our equipment in top shape!
Parkour Expanded Class
In our parkour expanded class we focus on taking the fundamental movements learned in the intro to parkour class and use them as a foundation to explore more challenging aspects of parkour including new technical movement types, linking 2 or more movements together fluidly, and understanding risk management when practicing parkour inside and outside. Students must complete the intro to parkour class to attend.

While the Introductory and Expanded classes are curriculum or theme based each day, Open Train is set up for each athlete to be able to develop his or her own skills and techniques. Stop by to work on balance, strength, agility or the next move with one of our coaches. These are coach facilitated sessions. Must have taken Intro to Parkour Class to participate.
