Dear SNÖBAHN Customers,

We hope you are all healthy, both physically and mentally.  We know this is a trying time for everyone.  We want you to know that our entire team misses seeing each and every one of you and we hope that we will be able to come together again very soon.  We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely and responding as quickly as we can to the evolving situation.  As you all know, the current stay at home order in Denver and additional counties has been extended to at least May 8th.  The safety of our customers, staff, and the community is our number one priority.  We will not re-open until we have a clear, safe plan in place that follows the guidelines set forth by our mayor and governor. 
 


Summer Camps
We have spent considerable time discussing various scenarios for how we could safely run our camps, if we are able to.  But, at this time we just don't have an answer due to all of the unknowns surrounding the virus.  We hope that we will gain clarity on the situation over the coming weeks so that we can make an informed plan as to opening the facility and running summer camps.  We realize some of you will be returning to work and depend on us for childcare.  We are very sensitive to that and we will make these decisions as soon as possible.

We plan to send a survey in mid-May to get a better understanding of what conditions would make you feel comfortable with sending your child(ren) to SNÖBAHN summer camp.  We value your opinions and will take the survey into strong consideration while establishing our new guidelines for a safe re-opening.  If you need to make other plans in the interim we completely understand and we will be offering refunds.  If you would be willing to receive a voucher instead of a refund you could apply it towards lessons, membership(s), birthday party, or a private event.  In that case, we will include 2 additional group lessons (or one private lesson) valued at $90 for free plus enter you into a drawing to win a free one slope birthday party (valued at $250).  We are a small business and if this is an option we would greatly appreciate this over a refund. 

Season Rental Equipment
Many of you have reached out regarding returning your season rental ski equipment.  Please complete this form (link) to let us know what you would like to do.  Below are the three options. 

  1. Return your skis during one of our scheduled drop off dates. We are requesting that everyone schedule a specific date and time to return the equipment in order to maintain safe distancing and allow us to sanitize and store the equipment between appointments.  You will be able to select a time that works for you.  
  2. Return your skis when we re-open. 
  3. Re-rent your equipment for next season at a steep discount ($50 off normal price).  If you select this option, we will call you for payment in the coming weeks and give you the option to return the equipment now to be tuned (preferred) or drop it off in the fall to get tuned.

Again, we need everyone to complete this survey to let us know what you are planning to do with your season rental equipment.

Online Store
We have spent some time over the past few weeks adding merchandise and punch cards to our website.  Please visit the store to order some of our awesome new merchandise or to buy one of our freestyle punch cards which provide incredible savings for drop-in freestyle sessions.  Due to current circumstances, we will only be shipping orders once per week.  Your purchases will provide very meaningful revenue to the business during a challenging time while we are closed.
